KOLAS signed a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), which grants an internationally approved official legal status for test reports published by any KOLAS International Accredited Testing Laboratory. That is, Samsung’s LM-80 test reports have been approved in South Korea, the United States and other parts of the globe.

As evidenced here, Samsung's testing capabilities are world class, as is its ability to more accurately and reliably forecast product life span, a key factor in product quality.

With these programs, Samsung provides pre-certified LED components to its corporate customers, which aids in quicker, easier certification for those customers' package products. In line with its policy to maximize customer satisfaction, Samsung runs a certification support program, which helps our customers to benefit from Samsung’s extensive certification capabilities.

The Certification Support Program allows customers to achieve certification within a short timeframe at lower cost through global certification institutions where Samsung has been certified and has a special arrangement.
